Has anyone tried the dehumidifier pellets?

Thanks for your response. I believe that I have fixed the problem by doing my own engineering based on a suggested fix on the TC Trailer site. Instead of extending the hurricane hinge to the edge of the trailer, I placed an alternative diversion channel just above the hurricane hinge and that channel goes all the way to the end of the trailer. I also placed custom end plates on the ends of the channel. It seemed easier to me than entirely replacing the existing hurricane hinge. It was still quite a bit of labor but the materials were easily available and not that expensive. It has been through several rain storms and has remained dry. I am including some photos of what the fix looks like.

Update: I actually found the instruction manual for this solar controller crammed in a corner of the galley shelf. Since I had a hard time finding the manual anywhere else in the world, I thought that I might share photos of the manuals with you in case anybody else might have a use for the information.
