- General DiscussionsWe went camping last week and hit quite a few gravel backroads. We've done plenty of gravel roads previously but when we got home we realized that the dust seems to be almost bonded to the aluminum. Hubby tried soap and water, elbow grease. I tried some Bar Keepers friend with a sponge (did some good). Almost impossible to shift this stuff - any tips on cleaning this stuff off? I am aware of Steve's post on polishing but assume we may need to clean first.Like
- General DiscussionsHello, Last fall we took the trailer (Diamond in the Rough) to New Brunswick. Had a great trip. I noticed on rainy travel days though that there would be wetness on the top of the items in the Lund box. Has anyone else experienced this and what did you do to address this? Thanks in advance for an suggestions. CraigLike
- General DiscussionsHi, I'm hoping someone can help. I have a Diamond in the Rough. I had a tarp over the trailer this winter and , in the spring when I took the tarp off, these black marks are present on the flat aluminum (not on the diamond plate aluminum roof) . Does anyone have a recommendation to clean these? Also, should a wax be used on the surface after cleaning to protect the aluminum? Thanks CraigLike
