the should be fine just a different style. Screw mounting hole are probably the only difference

Yes you can use this battery for more than just the light and fan. A trickle charger is a great asset to have for this battery also you can add another battery and connect the positive to positive and negative to negative giving you more time. Also a solar panel works quite well to keep the batteries charged while traveling or even while camping. Before going anywhere always charge your batteries unt they are complely change. Also you can leave a trickle charger on for long periods of time. Hope this help. Forrest

I installed a maxxair vent on my trailer And I have no problem, no leaks and this vent can draw air out and pull air in.

Can you send me some pictures and did you have to move the solar panel. How did you wire it. Did you remove the interior light and use that wiring for the ven.

Sharon can you tell me the size of your vent. the brand and does it have a interior trim ring. Can you send some more picture. I too have a hard time sleeping and the air flow from the doors is not enough I live in Arizona and it get really warm here. Do you know how thick the diamond plate is and the ceiling thicknes. My guess is it’s 1 inch thick.please send me as much info as you can. We’re you able to do this yourself. And also no offense to Steve who built a grea trailer but I need more air too. I plan on taking out the center light which I don’t use and mountin the vent there so I can use the existing wirin. Thanks Forrest

I would like to have some kind of rv vent but like you I have the diamond top but not sure how to install one. I thought about another window but that was no possible. Hope someone has done one with adding a vent.

don’t worry about the battery amps any good charger such as a 10 amp charger will do the jobs. The amps on the battery have nothing to do with the charge. Even a trickle charger can keep you marine battery in good shape. so keep your battery in good shape and charged. And a couple of days before you go camping place your battery on a charge. Most chargers now have a shut off charger r protection to keep your battery from over charging.
