Forgive my ramble. When the wife and I were looking around to get a teardrop, we had the fortune of being able to rent a teardrop locally for a weekend. We loved it. What was amazing about this particular unit was the RV style vent fan that was in it. It was a warm humid weekend and it drew so much air through the door screens that the inside felt like it was air conditioned. We finally got our Diamond last December and I was wondering if anyone has installed something like this on their trailer? I am really reticent about drilling and cutting to make this happen but it made sleeping that weekend just awesome. Just curious if anyone else has installed one, or what alternatives you've played around with.

Fantastic fans are just fine, however I have decided not to cut a hole in my roof as I have no idea where beams are. (it is better to plan for this since beginning).
However I am planning on installing a simple side vent https://www.etrailer.com/RV-Vents-and-Fans/Redline/HMAV2-AVT2.html
I will put a fan from the inside with custom speed controller, for the size of the trailer I believe this should suffice :D
I would like to have some kind of rv vent but like you I have the diamond top but not sure how to install one. I thought about another window but that was no possible. Hope someone has done one with adding a vent.
See my Max Fan post.
Might check with Steve before cutting into your teardro.
