Hi Jodene: welcome to the forum. I have never heard of his company but would love to know more. I know that Louis Rogers built the first teardrop back in the 30 s, then there was a publishing of the teardrop in popular mechanics . He must have had one of those magazines too. Very cool to know someone that is related to an original builder . Any old pictures or logos you can share would be awesome.
I wish I had images to share. I actually just learned about his business recently through some research on Grandpa--his full name was Marion Francis "Jack" Latimer. I was hoping some tear drop trailer enthusiast might have heard of the Jack-Bilt trailers. I would love to see an image of his work. He was a master craftsman/woodworker-later in life he focused on cabinetry making.
Thank you for sharing this. If you ever find out more information down the future please keep us posted because that is very very interesting would love to hear any further updates that you have discovered about his business. Have a strong appreciation for another ones handy work. Stay safe and looking forward on catching up.
