Hi Friends!!
Loving our teardrop trailer life! We are concerned about the amount of condensation produced overnight, especially as we move further into fall camping. This past weekend in Algonquin we had lots of moisture build up on the windows and around the door frame. We do keep windows open at night at the first level for air flow. Wondering if anyone has some tips on what has worked?
Looking forward to hearing from you!!
We did some fall camping and realized as well that cold nights lead to internal condensation. Even with windows open. I too (like others in the thread) also just had a MaxAir fan installed by local trailer service centre. Friends of ours also have a teardrop and they say the key is to exhaust the air (fan in reverse) during colder nights.
We did a month in Newfoundland with our 55 pounds dog who was wet quite a bit of the time and had some issues with condensation. We installed some Hypervent (from a Marine shop) under the mattress as well as a MaxAir fan - seems to have resolved/improved the issue.
I installed a maxxair vent on my trailer And I have no problem, no leaks and this vent can draw air out and pull air in.
